At around 3:30 a.m. May 29, Laval Police received a call about a stabbing in the parking lot of Top's bar located on Corbusier Blvd. A fight had broken out involving about a dozen people when a 23 year old male was stabbed in the neck. "The injuries were serious but luckily it missed his jugular," said Const. DiGenova. Witnesses reported that the three suspects had fled the scene in a SUV, so following a description, Laval Police intercepted the vehicle near Highway 15 N and Cure-Labelle. A 24 year old man was arrested along with two 22 year olds and charged with armed assault. The victim remains in hospital. "As far as we know, he's okay. His life is not in danger," said Const. DiGenova.
