After receiving tips from citizens, police concluded an investigation that began in February, with a March 25 raid on a cannabis growing operation on St. Martin Blvd. More than 500 plants were found in a commercial building, below a printing shop. A 34 year-old man, with no criminal record, was arrested. The plants were seized, sent to be analyzed, and then destroyed. The estimated value of seized items, including growing equipment, is $700,000.
